JCSM and Kahului Jodo Mission invite you to learn how to make and ferment two types of miso paste–Macadamia Nut and Spicy Chickpea–to take home and enjoy.

Join us afterwards for a light vegan meal that's organic and gluten-free.

Cost: Includes workshop materials (2 jars of miso) and light meal

$75 - JCSM members and Kahului Jodo Mission members

$85 - non-members

Yuko grew up in Japan surrounded by a variety of homemade fermented foods. About 10 years ago, she started sharing Japanese traditional fermentation techniques she learned from her obaachan. Her passion is to pass on Japanese fermented food culture to everyone with gratitude, love and respect to all the ancestors!
